I have used dozens of Polar products over the years and this is hands down my favorite. This watch is perfect for a runner or walker. Some of the features include an integrated GPS, wrist based heart rate, customizable training programs based on the date of your event and how far you are running/walking, waterproof, vibrating smart alerts, daily activity goals, sleep analysis and dozens of specific sport profiles that are individually customizable and so easy to use.
For example, when I run I want my pace, distance covered, heart rate and lap time displayed on the screen, but when I walk I want different information. All of that is customizable. All of that data uploads to give you specific information about your workout and whether you are over or undertraining. I love this watch.
Personally, I only wear this watch when I run or walk. Although the heart rate feature is as accurate as any product I have used, I recommend the H10 band also for any exercise that you need 100% heart rate accuracy. You will love this watch.
